What is this bit called that I need
« on: August 29, 2017, 05:02:56 pm »
Hi,
I am trying to identify the part that is missing that I need to buy to repair my faithful D.C. 01
I have circled the area in which it should be. I think the missing part is yellow in colour
Thank you

Ah, can't think of the name, is a yellow rubbery-plastic O ring that sits in the cleaner head.

Might be worth asking MVacs and showing that pic or waiting and hope he turns up on your thread

I believe it's called the cleaner head pivot circlip. Part no DYS901716-17

Its a dc01 not a DC04 - they don't use circlips.

Haha don't worry - i thought it was a dc04 missing circlip too until i saw the shape of the machine was very "blocky"
