Dyson cylinder big ball total clean

Hi all.

Got a big ball cylinder and wondered is the motor housing and everything the same as a cinectic cylinder one. As I've seen videos on it and looks like all they've done is change the cylinder casing and added a filter to it and classed this as a non cinectic machine even thought the motor housing is ?

My question is would a Cinectic cylinder work on this Dyson as I think it is the same.
