Dyson DC49 dead?
« on: September 03, 2017, 06:51:23 pm »
Anyone ever had a dead DC49? These have digital motors so I doubt they blow up, there's a dead one for sale locally at £20 I may have a crack at it... dunno tho

I've heard of a few dead DC49s as well so it seems like the odd one gets faulty with this fault :/

Possibly still under warranty so could be worth it if you can get Dyson out.

On the DC26, which seems a very similar machine, the cable rewind is often at fault. And nobody seems to have them in stock ever.........

That's a shame, my 26 was a nightmare to work on

The seller just told me there was a loss of suction and weird noise before it died so I'm gonna probs leave it
