Following the introduction of the New EU 900w Vacuum Cleaner Rules in September 2017, we have been waiting to see what the discontinued Sebo X4 will be replaced with.

At the IFA Consumer Electronics show in Berlin, 1-6 September, Sebo have unveiled the Automatic X7, the replacement for the X4. With an 890w motor to just sneak inside the new rules. Here it is:

I'm not so keen on it TBH, but I do like that it has a headlight!

They made it look blockier which makes it look older IMO :/

I really like the peaked profile from the front.

But yes i love the headlight - hopefully a bulb and not led strip - as they are poor in my experience in the tv side.

Well it would be a bit daft if they had to reduce the size of the motor for environmental reasons and didn't use an LED!

Even my dirt searcher has an LED bulb.

It sounds exactly how an X series Sebo should, it looks modern and mean and angular and it performs brilliantly. I'm going to buy one as soon as I can because I personally love it!

We have a handful of people on our list to get informed the moment they land with us. Shoot us a mail >>here<< to get on that list.

I'll warn you though, they will be £50-£100 more expensive than current models. And we still have *most* of the higher wattage current models available from stock despite the EU ban.

It's certainly a purposeful looking thing! I presume it's pretty much the old X series in a new body with a lower wattage motor though? So backwards compatibility of tools, brushrolls, bags, filters etc?

That video though, Olga should have vacuumed the other way round to show the grooming off better!
