I heard that apprently you can boil a dc07 hepa filter and let it dry thouroughly to wash it? was thinking to check first before I boil a non-washable filter?

You will end up with a plastic ring and a lot of paper bits.

Thought it wouldn't work.
Gonna look at making a new post filter using an old hepa filter housing and old Dyson pre filter

Be careful, a sparking motor and polyurethane foam is a flammable mix.

Yeah I know - I refurbish dysons quite a bit

Yeah, sorry meant to add id be using the casing nothing else.

I would never let a HEPA filter near water. Terrible combination, will only result in bad smells and reduced suction.
