DC24-25 post filter fix
« on: September 09, 2017, 02:50:00 am »
Found that doing this will stop the whistling from the post filters,

Step one,

Grab a triangular file

Add another groove in the red release button like so,

The re insert and push firmly down so the red button clicks into the second grove, now it is locked in tight and the air cannot rush past the seal causing the whistle.

Hope this helps

Another way i use is to put a continuos roll of cotton wool under the rubber seal all around and this also helps seal firmly when replaced to stop the whistling noise.
