I wouldn't like to be the person who wants it shipped... black bags and parcel tape, wcpgw?

Another one of these has just sold on eBay for 501 plus delivery. Which is actually quite cheap I think.

I had a 496 bid on it just in case nobody had noticed it........

My dad also tried to get this for me but was not fast enough.

I keep looking everyday and pray another 1 comes up soon

God bless, keep trying and you'll get one soon :) Nothing is impossible with a bit of perseverance
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Another one has recently been listed on eBay, bidding went to 742 including delivery.

However, the greedy seller (who had listed it previously and pulled it) had a reserve on it and it appears not to have sold.

But sold or not, the nature of capitalism shows us the value: whatever someone is prepared to pay for it. In this case, 742.

He re-listed that after bidding on his first listing was at 100. No idea what he thinks it's value is, TBH 750 is pretty good!

Problem is, the more it gets relisted and not sold (I reckon the reserve must be near a grand) the more people will stop caring! It's all well and good wanting something for something, but if it never sells what's the point?

I agree, it's a small group of people who are buying stuff like this, and thanks to this topic recent values are documented and easy for people to find. I agree the bid was probably just right. If he keeps relisting it people will just think he is a messer and leave it alone.
