DC24 DRAWING LIMITED EDITION

I Have got a DC24 limited edition in white and the brush bar has stopped working and i have noticed that there is no reset button on the side could i ask is the motor change the same as all other Dc24 units, does the limited edition have a reset switch or not thank you

dc 24 head motors are all the same changing over as far as i know, early 24's had the cut out switch on the side. (or was it later heads had the cut out switch)
There is a chance it isn't the motor at fault, the yoke cable red/white (from the axis side) can break. I have also had the 1 ohm resistor on the dc24 head power pcb blow and go open circuit.

pop a volt meter set on ac ~ 500 and measure for voltage 230v on the main body head connections, oh and ensure the head switch next to power switch is correct.
The only way to fail is not to try.

Later heads don't have the reset switch and are more prone to burn out PCBs as a result.

I'd suggest you may be into a PCB and a motor. On a drawing the easiest fix in that case is to buy a new head and use it for spares as new Drawing heads are expensive if still available.

If you have a feed as suggested above, look at the PCB, if it is burned, swap it and the motor. The job is the same on both variants.

Thank you all for the advice i have taken the head apart and yes the PCB had blown in great fashion so i have change it and the motor and it is all running again thank you
