If anyone wants an as new Ensign SM1 at a very good price please see below. This listing has nothing to do with me but if I did not already have one I would snap this up.

Well, it does look quite straight........

It says:

Quote
Machine used once only and in as new condition

Which is all very well, but then you get this:

Quote
New cable fitted.

Which begs the question, why would you fit a new cable to a machine that has only been used once?

And why would you unbox a machine, use it once, fit a new cable for no apparent reason, and then say to yourself, "Hmm, I know what I'll do with this, I'll sell it on eBay for half what it just cost me":chuckle:

I thought the cable bit was a bit suspicious too. I am going to ask for an explanation.

Wish this listing was available when I was on the verge of buying an X4 pet boost!

Nice machine tbh I'd get it if I had the money and space

From the seller just now. "The plug earth pin was damaged in the box so rather than fit a plug we put a cable with a moulded plug." I don't want to be seen as promoting this listing rather flagging up the availability of a hard to find vacuum. All eBay purchases need due diligence and come with a certain amount of risk. Cheers.

Still sounds odd, I'd just chop the plug off and fit a normal one. And how does a plug get damaged in a box?

Some funny folk on eBay. Machine does look straight though. Perhaps it's a return from one of those auction houses or something. People do daft stuff like standing on plugs so they can make out it is damaged and have a reason to return it.

I loved my SM2, if I had to run a Sebo I'd hunt one of these out, small enough for domestic use and a manual height adjuster!
