Most of them come from one of two factories in China wherever you get them from. They're all about the same IMO.

Never any problems with Q stuff in my experience. Comparing their HEPA filters to the genuine one there's sod all difference,  bar cost!

From what Stuart has told us/shown us before I'd not be surprised if the materials and manufacturing processes are the same/better than the original Dyson ones.

Also, how can you be sure the Dyson ones don't come from the same factory? Hoover did this in the early 2000's, used pattern suppliers (belts with DBB numbers on) and wrapped in Hoover/Candy branded packaging.

I bought a set of Sebo X Series Tool from Quаltex for a fiver and cannot tell the difference in quality. Use them for all the dirty jobs around the house and keep the SEBO ones for best  ;)

Sebo X Series Tool from Qtex

Their brush tool on that set is iffy - it comes apart. Better ones exist.  ;)

Nobody's stair tool fits on the carrier on a DC14 except genuine. We modify the carrier so they fit.  ;)

Brush tools always seemed OK.

My DC14s have always fitted aftermarket tools okay. Only had problems with the dusting brush but then thats just a slight gap, fits fine but looks slightly off.
You modify the carrier?
