Vax Blade 32v Pro Charge Problem !
« on: February 07, 2018, 04:04:07 pm »
Hi ALl,

A Vax Blade Pro has just come in with a Charge problem - I left it on charge over night and all I get is the charge indicator flashing red and white.

Has anybody else come across this problem and fixed it ? I fear it's 'Electronics' again which as you know isn't my thing :(

With all those types of machine we categorise it as charger, battery, blockage/service or 'other'.

'Other' usually being something inside the main unit. With a Dyson you supply a motor body unit. In the case of Vax, parts supply is so awkward (from a supply and identification perspective), and the product so poor generally, anything regarded as 'other' is usually written off. We regard Vax machines as disposable - or a consumable if you like.  :chuckle:

The problem is, if it may be the battery, do you want to buy one in in case it isnt? Not unless you are sure you'll sell it later.

Ok, So it's 'Other'..lol

The Customer was sent a new body from abu-Dabi and it would have been a bonus if I could fix this.

This machines has never been used so I will ask to keep it for parts.
