That looks like the glued on type, I don't think you can get replacements. you will need to source a new cyclone unit unfortunately.

That's the very early DC07 cyclone, the earliest there ever was, back when those FDC seals were glued on

They are a different size to the rest of the DC07s, so you can't just replace it with the current type I'm afraid, the only remedy is a replacement cyclone. It should benefit you anyway with a new cyclone as the earlier types always let dust go through those seals because they were so wide

Not sure if it’s worth doing, she only paid £25 for it 2 years ago. A new cyclone will cost about £30

eBay has cheap cyclones available, or try manchestervac's shop (just ask them)

I'd say it's worth it;
The DC07 is a pretty good vacuum cleaner, much better than any other bagless tat that's available these days, from experience I've owned all Dyson uprights available in the UK market, I can confidently say the DC07 fits into the top 5 best Dyson uprights produced, and I'm sure many will agree with me

Was it working nicely before this seal busted? Perhaps the filter got clogged due to the seal breaking as a result

Aah okay
Yeah I reckon a filter wash, maybe a new belt and just a cleanup will get it sorted 👍

Oh and don't forget to check the soleplate is in proper contact with the floor when in the reclined vacuuming position
