Hey guys,
Anyone know where/how to get a new motor for a dc50? Can't find one on Internet (except on eBay for £60!!!!)
Many thanks

I can find auctions for a motor complete with switch starting at £14 , a complete unit and PCB at £20 odd and a used motor at £35

Why particularly does it need to be new ?

We have them. Is the machine an ERP or not?

Sorry whats am ERP?

Red MAX slider on the front of the machine's cleaner head. Some parts differ on ERP models.

Failing which, numbers off the motor will do, or first three digits of the machine serial number.

Just joined.  Haven't got a clue as to how to log my query so I've used this unconventional approach.  Does anyone know the supply voltage value at the female contacts which connect to the DC50 brush bar pivot. I get a reading of 44V dc but this doesn't seem to be correct.

We could do with a table creating to be honest on this subject.
If head has a rectifier pcb inside then probably should be looking for 240v ac.

I suspect head is motor only on this so should be looking for dc volts but never had one in so i personally can't tell you.

Ball ache, dc24 25 are 240v ac

dc40 41 are dc - again never bothered checking the dc out. wish i had now.

look in main directory for dc 50, and see if beko1987 has done a strip n build on the model ?
The only way to fail is not to try.
