They are steadfast in their opinion that this is your only option, or to take it to a very small group of their "Certified Repair Facilities" that will do the same, they will replace the part after special ordering it and waiting one week for it, then they will replace the part, all while charging you way too much for it and their so called labor, we are talking 2 screws and about 60 seconds to do this. And they then insist that you need to replace all of your gaskets, and do a complete model overhaul. This is truly insane. Just let the customers have the part(s) they need and be done with it. There is no reason for all of this BS !!
there seems to be a problem in the USA about getting replacement parts for your dyson if you choose to fix it our self.
Especially when all of you gentleman keep saying how you only charge 120 dollars for a visit to your vacuum repair shop for a 12 cent part.
