Sebo X 1.1, Loose Handle Screw
« on: March 12, 2018, 12:21:16 pm »
Hello everyone,

I have a Sebo Automatic X 1.1. I removed the top plastic handle in order to repair the wiring, which was torn at the top.

However, I can't screw the screw back into the metal handle, as the metal plate backing has come loose and clangs about inside when I shake it. I have tried to get it into place, but no success.

My handle is the one with only one screw.

How can I dissattach  the plastic part of the handle from the metal part without damaging any of the wiring,  so that I can put the screw nut/metal plate back into place? Or is there another, simpler, method to do this?

Al help is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
