I fixed the title for you.
We haven't a DC24 in at the moment having a motor, so I can't grab any pictures. But I will ask our tech his thoughts on this motor swap. He has done dozens of them and I will bug him to post this thoughts on Monday.
I can say that most of the motor swaps on DC24's we have seen have been because the bottom fan breaks up on them and causes them to screech or jam. In our opinion, this is a design fault on DC24's. We have seen too many of them with broken up motor fans for it to be a coincidence.
Add that to the propensity of the brush bar motors to burn out, and we are not looking at one of Dyson's finest products.
In my opinion, the DC24 will join the DC18 in the list of ones that were not exactly right.
