Henry motor

Did this job last week, guy in a shoe shop had his machine which had a vac bin underneath.

Comm on motor was u/s so thought i would replace with a henry pattern motor

The old one was stamped made in usa, and good solid assembly, with four holes for mounting posts to the lid.

the pattern motor had four holes and were same spacing, but... not threaded so i thought i would tap them out - but monkey metal crumbled.
Had to strip armeture from new motor and transfer into old body, all sorts of problems but got there eventually.

Anyone recognise the old motor ? it's the one with the green stamp on it

I swapped the field winding and frame top too btw
