Nightmare!
« on: April 03, 2018, 05:03:59 pm »
Hello one and all.
I'm having a nightmare of a time trying to find a part.
Using the dc40  schematic image I need the upright lock part 31 on the image .
I have ordered from ebay and the seller says they have posted it out only for it to get lost in transit , so they sent a second one and that has been lost in transit.
I then went and ordered from another parts supplier and they refunded as the item is out of stock!
The only place that seems to have it is ebay from US sellers but they are asking for around £3.00 for the part and £18.00 for P&P.
The part number for the upright lock is 922567-01.
If you have a dead dc40 or have one of the upright lock please give me a shout.

Kind regards Adam.

Don't think I've ever seen one of those broken tbh! Might have more luck buying a scrap machine for pennies, although Mvacs may have a dead one in stock... I think DC40/41's are still too 'valuable' to be smashed up for spares yet though unless really terminal
