Funnily enough i saw one today for first time.
Sold a refurbed DC14 to a lady who's a cleaner for some rich guy - her own is a shark lift off.

I asked about it and she said she likes it, said it was better than her other dyson ball.

I wasn't keen on it's looks tbh
The only way to fail is not to try.

I acquired one this week. I can't say I am thrilled about it.

We get them in the shop blocked up occasionally. I see no notable design or engineering there.

They're everywhere in the U.S, I've already fixed 3 of them for family friends.

Low quality plastics break easily, and the filter clogs almost immediately due to bad cyclonic separator design, (which obviously leads to motor failure if ignored)
Overall just badly designed machines.   I personally think they look and feel really cheap/ugly/tacky, especially the power switches.
AM01 silver/grey (12"), AM09 white/silver, DC01 Absolute+ (ametek), DC01 Antarctic (ydk), DC03 Absolute+ (yellow/purple), DC14 Allergy, DC16 Animal, DC24-i, DC27 Animal, DC35 Multi-floor, 2012 AEG Ultrasilencer (gloss blue), Numatic Henry (old style 2-speed with red push switch on top, and green hi/lo rocker switch on the back)

Yes, I'd agree with that too.

Cheers for the heads up, Ampere Husky. I was actually about to get one of those. Dodged a bullet by the looks of it.
I think these reliable fat burners for men are a great choice.
