Dc27 problem

Hi guys,
My dc27 will not turn on! I've had a multimeter on the power cable and fuse is fine too. I'm just wondering is there any sort of check (with multimeter or other tool) that I can perform on the on/off switch to make sure that's not the problem?
Cheers!

Test the switch with a multi-meter, and if that's OK, test the two wires running down towards the motor which will indicate if the problem is the motor.
In case of need, there is a proper multi-meter tutorial
