The
Dyson DC49
is a very small machine. Why do you need to strip it down? What are the symptoms?
The DC26 is a very similar machine and we have a strip down and refurb topic

I think i need to replace the on off switch the vac wont switch on i have taken all the small screws out but it wont separate

I am sorry but the d c 26 is nothing like the d c 49 it might be the same size but that is all I have had a look at the video and it is completely different to mine
