V6 head

Hi... got a v6 that was pulsing due to blocked filter --- now sorted, but the head is only running for 1 sec on each pull of the trigger....I assume head is the issue but can anyone confirm..... not had a v6 to work on before... cheers guys and gals

The head will want stripping down and cleaning out properly I'd suggest.

tested a little more...on 1st trigger pull both head and main motor run for a second or 2 and then both stop....without releasing the trigger main motor then runs fine...…
when tried without head fitted main motor runs fine on 1st trigger pull.....would I assume the head is drawing too much load possibly?

stripped head and disconnected belt.  runs fine.... brush roll drive is tight to turn....
