Hi, further to my original post, I ordered an UP15 PCB which I received earlier this week and fitted, the brush bar is still not working and I'm now thinking that the replacement one has a similar fault, unless anyone can point me to another component that might have failed?
With my original PCB there was no power at all to the brush head connector pins. With the replacement one there is voltage to the brush head connectors when the brush head isn't actually fitted, but when it is fitted the brush head instantly moves a fraction when switched on then stops, so there seems to be no power output under load.
I've tested the wiring from the PCB to the motor head - and when I directly put 12v dc into the brush head output connector via the soldered joints on the on the back of the PCB, the motor head slowly spins - so the wiring loom, connectors on the PCB and motor head seem to be OK.
I've also tested the power switches themselves near the handle and the wiring between the switches and the PCB. The main vacuum motor works as it should.
Does anyone know if there is anything else that could stop the motor head working, or is it likely that I've replaced one faulty PCB with another?
Thanks
