Hi Gundy. What is the issue? If there's no suction to the floor bit when you recline then the changeover valve is broken. No power when you turn it on and you'll need a new motor

Found the Dyson forum from a search on google.
I was looking for information about my DC04 absolute bought in 1999. Still going strong but had a problem with the main hose. Searched the advice boards and all solved. Very helpful and spent far too long looking through all the advice, which inspired me to fit new filters and bottom hose. Working like new! Thanks

found your forum after trawling internet "google" looking for advise on repair of washing machines
I think forum is excellent idea

forum could be made easier for members by better grouping of postings
I am particularly interested in dyson washing machines
but have to trawl through all pages of postings to get washing machine discussions
if postings were fully grouped by model number be it vacuum cleaner or washing machine it would be a lot easier to use

And they are grouped into sections. All the Dyson Vacuum's have their own section and there is one also for washing machines...
