Not sure how hard as i have not had to do one yet ;) but take alook at the Ball section on the list of machines in the above sections, there is a exploded diagram which should be of help.
Good luck. ;)

To all new members:

Just so we know what is working, could you let us know how you found us? Maybe Google? (if so, do you remember what you typed in there?) Maybe you found us from a link from another site or forum? (if so, which one?) etc.

It would help us if we knew how you found us so we could target our membership drive. Just hit the reply button below and tell us.

If you are reading this as a guest, why not sign up and tell us and say hello?
Hi found this link on ebay looking for a wand for a dc15 animal my wife has worn the end which I now know to be a collar down to about 3/4 inch she prefers to just use the tip rather than fit a tool and of course has never read the instructions of any gadget in her life so no tools fit nd i seem to be spending an awful lot of time and money picking up the pieces of failed products so a collar at a tenner sounds a lot better than a wand at thirty quid.
So saw the collar advertised on ebay and need to ascertain if it will fit the dc15 anybody know ?
happy New Year and regards

I know an aftermarket wand tip/collar is available for the DC14 but it won't fit the DC15.

The DC15 wasn't a huge hit for Dyson so there isn't really much of a market for spares for this model I'm afraid.

If it is the DC15 you have, it will have to be a new wand unless you're lucky enough to come across someone with a broken wand but salvageable tip that they'd be happy to sell.

As Russ said, the DC15 one is a smaller diameter and nobody makes those.

Welcome to the site.

One of the other members suggested that I remove the filter in the ball and try it and bingo the noise was gone. I ordered a new filter, installed  it and everything sounds great. Thanks everyone.

Via a link on one of your eBay adverts, I was quite a big eBay Dyson seller at one point (over 4600) feedback, but finding it hard to get decent stock these days, majority seems to be 07's which as you all know still sell well.

Hallo to everybody!

I think I found the link to this forum in another one, Dysonmedic. To be honest it seems to me that Dysonforum gives better answers, with more details about the "hardware" . That's why I registered here. I bought a few months ago a Dyson DC25, from Amazon UK. It is a model not commercialised in Italy (there is DC24 here). I would like yo find out why. Anyway the price was reaaally interesting, and as I appreciated very much the air blade driers (quite original and powerful) I decided to give a chance to Dyson. I come from a Worwerk vacuum cleaner, and I must say that they know how to make a vacuum cleaner. Only, they cannot sell it at 2000 euros!!
Bye!

Hi-  found you via Google while searching for a source for new brushes for a Panasonic SDS1301GND 120V motor out of a DC25.  Can't seem to find anywhere-- or at least what I've been looking at on-line doesn't appear to be the same.  Any help-- or should I post a request on the Ball forum?

Thanks!

Googled for a DC28 user manual; Site listed many Dyson manuals, but not for the DC28; Guided me to a link to this forum if my model was not listed.
