I've tried fixing the henry but it doesn't work
« on: February 18, 2019, 09:10:56 am »
I tried the motor, which was fine. The wires on it, which is fine and the cable which is fine. What should I do?

FINE ? look fine or tested ?

Need to test cables brown / blue backwards on continuity with a meter.

Test switch / switches... speed controller pcb fitted ?

I'll look it again when I get a meter. It'd be a shame to throw Henry out when these vacuums are indestructible. Do the Henry which don't have Autosave have this problem? Like the new ones they've made.

Autosave is that feature on the Henry's when you turn it on it goes on low mode and you can press the high low rocket switch to make it powerful. Once you turn it off, the Autosave feature goes back to low as default. These Autosaves have a problem with the PCB as it is in front of the motor and the carbon dust goes on the board, shorting it out.
