Can't remember now which way round motor cross compatability is...
Think dc40 is same as dc24 and dc41 same as dc25 ?

DC40/41 is the same motor as the DC25, you just need to transfer the mounts over. Dc24 is a smaller unit.

Yep correct, although the DC41 mk2 motor has more torque cos it spins faster
