DC07 - Clutch Cover
« on: June 22, 2019, 09:36:00 am »
Hi all

I have another question please.  I accidently broke the clutch cover  trying to remove it.  I attach a photo - the bit I broke is the small flap circled in blue. How important is this flap please?

I bought this recycled one but as my existing one is black I prefer to retain the old broken one if this will present no issues.  As my DC07 is currently in bits, it is difficult to know if I can retain my broken one.  I'd appreciate your advices once more - thanks.

should be fine, just ensure no sharp edges on it. The head hose sits on it on it's way to the change over assembly.
The only way to fail is not to try.
