Dyson Light Ball no power to the brush head?
« on: December 23, 2019, 04:03:15 PM »
Hi, I've got a light ball which I'm trying to find out why the brush bar isnt working, I've checked the switch which is fine (replaced with a known working switch just incase) I've checked with a multi meter and there doesnt seem to be any power getting to the head so I'm guessing it's the yoke loom, but first is there a way of checking the head itself to see if that's faulty? And also is there any helpful instructions etc... on how to change the yoke loom, I've done a couple of other models but not a light ball before. Are they the same? Thanks in advance, any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Why don't you just contact Dyson? It should still be under warranty

It's the cleaner head and/or the PCB. We are starting to see a lot of these.

Check output from the PCB, and then into it. If the PCB is gone, replace the head too as that will have took out the PCB we find.
