Got a V6 stick vacuum.
The max power setting has not worked for some time.
the other day it died completely. It gave 15 or more red flashing lights and a brief search suggested the battery was at fault.
So I ordered a new one from battery shop sussex and plugged it in. it still did not work and gave three green flashing lights. I pulled the battery out and left it on the side. It felt like the PCB for the BMS was warm for a day or so...
So I sent it back and they replaced it with a new one without any quibbles. In speaking to them they said it could be the motor that is kaput , and this caused the second battery issue.
So I have not plugged in the third battery yet and am planing on investigating the motor.
Is there some diagnosis I can perform on the motor to check it? I.e. can I check continuity, are these motors brushless?
