DC24 Red Pedal
« on: September 09, 2011, 10:20:32 pm »
Hey all,
The red pedal for tilting the DC24 has split in half and needs to replaced. Any service manual or tutorial to show how to do this?  :'(

Thanks!

If you look at where it pivots at either side, it is released by two screws; one of which is accessed by removing a cover held in place by three screws. After unfastening it there, it should be able to be manipulated out of the tracks it runs in near the wheels.

If you struggle, I will have a closer look at one and do a couple of photos. Shoot me back.

Thanks for the response DT.

I am still struggling to remove the pedal. The screws on the side with the cover is posing a problem. When you remove the cover, the screw is blocked by parts under the cover.

Could you provide some pictures to assist?

Thanks
