DC39 Top Duct Assembly
« on: July 17, 2020, 04:24:06 PM »
I need to replace the top duct assembly on my DC39 - I don't want to disassemble the whole thing if it can be done more simply.  Any Advise?

the only thing harder than getting the white tabs to let go is getting them to lock again.  any suggestions?

I use a small flat blade screwdriver, and at the front of the tans, push the driver between the housing and tab, then lever up under the tab, which usually brings the motor housing up and snaps it in. Can be a sod though, and make double sure the pedals are where they should be and no springs have fallen off before you do it...
