DC41 (ERP) Brush roll shenanigins
« on: July 21, 2020, 12:46:35 am »
Got a DC41 in just before lockdown with no motor on brushroll and found a blown resistor on the PCB.
When we got back in the part arrived, checked the loom etc, all seemed ok but switch the brushroll on and ....pop   :-(
Ordered second PCB after stripping the head down and finding the motor armature faulty. On test though the voltage to the brushroll is 338v, is this correct or is the new PCB faulty?
Not got another to test it with.

Around 300v DC is correct, yes.
