Dyson V8 - No Power to brush bar
« on: July 21, 2020, 04:27:13 PM »
Hi Guys,
I am new here.
I have a V8 and I am not getting any power to brush bar.
I have tested it right back to the motor body and no power reading from there when switch is on.
I have removed the back cover and checked resistance on both the red and white wire on the pcb board to the front where it connects to the bin and thats fine.
Any other ideas or does it look like I need a new body?

Many Thanks in advance

We would replace the motor body if it has no output.

They’re not terribly expensive actually.
