DC35 voltages
« on: September 01, 2020, 10:21:51 pm »
Why does the DC35 battery need two charger voltages ?
What does the lower voltage do ? it does not appear to be carried through to the DC35 so only for charging ?

Normally Li-ion batterie stacks have cell balancer circuits and this is powered by the single charger voltage in parallel with the battery stack

I have battery that does not charge from charger (which has correct voltages output) - no green LED.
The battery is OK tested by back charging via its output socket up to input 23.5V - which then powers the DC35 OK - but not certain about the balancer is working or not so only partially charging..

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the battery internals ?
