DC25 Cyclone Spring
« on: October 07, 2020, 02:25:25 PM »
I was finishing off the repair of my DC25 swapping the cyclone seal when I noticed that the spring in the cyclone assembly was in 2 pieces. Does anyone know which DC25 Spring fits as the parts diagram isn't that clear and where I can get one from? BTW its not the catch release spring, its the spring below the cyclone seal if that makes sense/

Stuart.

There's a strip down topic here, Beko's photos are usually very detailed, have a look there first.

Already did, its the spring in this picture, which doesn't appear to have a part number on any of the exploded diagrams I can find.

Posting my own reply just in case anyone needs this. The spring in question is a 35mm x 6mm compression spring though I had to opt for 1mm wire so its a bit stiffer than before. Cost was 2.84 from eBay (other suppliers are available)
