Compatible Batteries?
« on: December 03, 2020, 05:03:26 pm »
In the last year I reckon that half my repairs have been to various cordless machines, and two thirds of these required new batteries. Usually on machines from about three years of age, which I guess is why the Dyson battery warranty is only 2 years...
Does anyone have any recommendations for compatible battery brands? I stay away from the unbranded cheapy ones on eBay after a couple of them failed in short order. The genuine Dyson ones just have silly pricing at present, with some of them currently around the £70 mark. The ones I tend to buy most often are branded Flylinktech. These have been mostly reliable and, while not the cheapest, are typically half what Dyson charge.
Has anyone else got any suggestions as to what to buy, and what to avoid?

We have our source of our own (due back in stock in a few days). I only sell them to the trade, typically in 5s or 10s. They're really reliable, but certainly not the cheapest.

I get two ranges of V6 ones in, ones with Sony cells which are as good as the Dyson ones, and cheaper ones with Chinese cells that are pretty good, but obviously not as good as Sony.

When the new ones are in in a few days I'll update you on pricing.

They're back in stock.

I've got 2200 MAH ones in (decent Chinese cells) that most of the trade buy (we don't sell batteries to the public due to frequent misdiagnosis). They are £25 each.

I've also got some 3000 MAH ones with Sony cells (as good as original Dyson ones) that we use on customers machines that are £40.

Minimum order is 5 with free DPD delivery. PM or email to arrange.
