DC02 Clear
« on: January 06, 2021, 11:49:37 am »
Managed to buy this... just before the country locked down, so I can't go and collect it.  ;D

Very much looking forward to picking it up when I can and will be extremely carefully stripping it down and cleaning it.

The tools look funny colours to me, though - can anyone confirm if they're all right? There's also a crack in the wand handle. I've bid on one on eBay that's slightly less damaged but still on the lookout for one that's whole.

Still - excited, especially as I've got the DC03 Clear to match already.

Those trims and colours look right to me. Same as ours.

Good to know. The two-tone dusting brush threw me off, as did the different finishes on the upholstery tool vs crevice tool.

Managed to get a friend who was passing through to pick it up for me! Pictured here with my DC03 Clear.

Really pleased with the condition, it's scuffed and scratched but complete. The only broken part is the wand handle, but that still functions. It had clearly been used to suck up some plaster, though, so if I'm brave enough I'll strip it down and make sure everything's okay in there...

Meantime will keep looking out for a DC02 Clear wand handle and a DC03 Clear soleplate, then both of these will be as near to perfect as I'm capable of getting them.

Not often you see a matching pair of those.

We are clearing and changing some old locations in the next few weeks, I'll holler if anything you need turns up.

Much obliged! Do you still do pattern spares of the DC02 banana handle? I've got a grey one that could use a spare too.

No, they've finished now. We had the last 100 from the supplier last year.
