DC25 -- Sourcing Inlet/Exhaust Seals
« on: January 29, 2021, 01:44:55 am »
I've inherited a stalwart DC25. The thing is in excellent shape for its age. The only loose bit is at the canister--the latchy thing works but allows sufficient play to cause some suction loss. I'd like to replace the inlet and exhaust seals, but sourcing these parts new is a challenge. Any ideas where one can purchase these things? ooooor, can these seals perhaps be 3D printed with a TPE or TPU flexible filament?

I’ve never known these seals to ever fail on the DC25, are they fitted correctly?

The seals are readily available but they never fail as noted above. Why they're not on our shop. If you really want them, look up the part numbers here and shoot us a mail here with the part numbers you want and we'll get them in. They would be non-returnable though.

Many Dysons seem loose at the cyclone inlet and outlet, and they are designed to be that way. They pull tight when it's switched on.
