Is a working dyson dc27 that just needs a clean for £5 a good deal?

I don't know a lot about the dc27,is a British model or will it have a foreign plug? Is it worth getting or is it just a dc33/14?

Are you getting it to sell on? Personally I would take the post filter out, remove the small plastic cover and switch it on to check the motor from there, as if you can avoid stripping it down to the motor that will save you a lot of work / heartache when cleaning it up. All the usual bits (wheels, cyclone, brushroll housing etc) come apart in the usual way for washing and cleaning. The cyclone is just a DC33 unit so you’ll likely need a new foam gasket.
