Soft Roller on DC35 (V6 to DC35 adapter)

Hi there

Im new to the forums, have spend the last few hours online trying to find an answer to my question and no luck.

I was given an old DC35 as a gift by a family member.
I have a new & expensive hardwood floor that I want to not scratch at all.

I saw in my research that the "dyson soft roller head assembly" is my best bet for hard wood floors. I know they made this head for the V6 - V11 series.

I was wondering if there is any way to connect the soft roller head to the DC35 ?

I cannot find an adapter anywhere that will connect the two. I know the V6 connections are similar to the DC35 connections but not the same. Is that right? (because there is a V6 version of the soft roller head)

At present there is no way to connect these. The electrical connections are ever so slightly different. Given the age of the DC35 now (ten years) plus the fact it was pretty unreliable, I doubt such an adapter will ever be made, there would be very little demand for it. I would recommend waiting for a cheap V6 machine or newer to come along

Yes, nobody makes any adaptors that adapt electrically driven floorheads.
