Wanted one of these for ages so was really glad to pick this one up in decent nick (with plenty of spare bags) for £25. I believe these were sold door-to-door like Kirbys?

I am on the hunt for a few bits - a crevice tool, a replacement post filter and most importantly the big chrome badge that's missing off the side. Suspect they'll need to come from the US, though.

It's an amazing machine though - feels like it's from the 50s but built in '94. Powerhead is totally overkill but I kinda like that. I've got a fairly longpile rug that it does a great job on.

I've never seen one of those, thanks for sharing.

I'd have assumed it was 50s as well, surprising it's only from 94.  :o

It wasn't a lot of money either!

Those are from the 1990s, though the basic layout goes back to the mid 1940s.
