DC07 cyclone hissing air and coming apart?!
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:55:18 pm »
My Dyson DC07 cyclone assembly seems to be splitting where the coloured cyclone part meets the silver/grey strip just above the bin, also it hisses like air is being lost and I've never noticed this before and wondered if the hissing air is just something I've never noticed as I haven't lost any suction. Any Ideas?

I don't recall ever having seen a DC07 cyclone do that. I'll ask our tech in the morning if that part can be split.

That part cannot be split. If you have air hissing from around the join you mention, you need a new cyclone unit.
