V6 hard floor tool and bin query
« on: April 10, 2021, 10:02:19 pm »
Evening, 1 issue, 1 question...

The hard floor tool for my V6 Fluffy will turn for a second, the vacuum will momentarily turn off then resume without the brush spinning. If stripped and cleaned with no success. It's it that motor within is the problem?

The part on the bin (dark silver), that the wand or tool connects to. I can't see it has a 2 screws to attach it to the bin. How do I get to the screw located behind the electric pins?

Thanks

Have you stripped it right down to where the hair lodges behind the spindle? That's usually what causes that.

Hi, yes I've stripped it back. Even had the motor out but with no success. Turning it feels a little notchy and not as smooth / free as our new one.

Turning it feels a little notchy and not as smooth / free as our new one.

That suggests it is kaput and a new head is needed.
