And gather up the wands
Fit the fattest one in first from the top
Then fit the locking red latch and it's spring
Slide the middle wand in and click the plastic joiner together
Do the same with the bottom one and check it still works (which it probably won't, although thinking back I tried to be clever and put a smear of grease on the moving parts. One of the ways I got it fixed was to have the whole thing back apart and clean that off IIRC). The wand should fully extend the 3 parts and lock them all together (the adjustment for height being done by the top fattest part only and that red locking clip.) To close the wand up a sharp push on the end overwhelms the plastic clips and it all slides back up. Once it wears out it's trash tbh)
Refit the nylon bushing to the pivoting bit at the top
Fit the handle to that and screw up and cover up
Then refit the suction release valve

The parts pile is very small now
Starting with the main floor head, with a drop of oil on the bearing, refit the white turbine, making sure it passes through the belt in the centre or it won't work
Drop the black top housing on, again with a drop of oil on it's utterly tiny bearing. From memory the locating tabs are sized differently/spaced differently so it only fits on one way
Click the middle section on
Refit the rubber boot and red clip (red bit is handed too, only goes in one way)
And the turbine is done! It should all spin really freely from the brushroll axles
Refit all the seals to the parts, including the top of the clear housing and underside of the baseplate
The turbine to housing seal (make sure this is fully fitted or the air escapes before it can spin anything) as well as the diverter flap and it's top seal
The turbine unit can drop on now, then the clear housing on that and do up all the screws

Brushrolls can go in now
Rear strip of the baseplate pops back in with the aid of a small screwdriver
Front baseplate wheels
Then the baseplate can go back onto the head
Fit the inner hose
Then fit the 2 parts of the head together. I usually get this wrong as it's not obvious which way it goes but if you fit it and it's almost jammed, with zero pivoting action, flip it around as it too only goes on one way or the housings hit together rather than pass nicely!
Fit the latch if you removed it and the bottom wheel
It's pretty much copy+paste for the small turbo head, just smaller
The turbine is identical bar the smaller brushroll axles

With just the one screw to hold the turbine down before fitting the clear top shell to note
Done x2!
Assembling the terrible hard floor head is fairly straightforward
And you have 3 tools again!
And an as-new, fully refurbished cleaner ready to last another 15 odd years! (longer if you don't use it for DIY again!)

Now I mentioned in the before video that I had a buyer lined up for this, which is what prompted me to actually sort it in the first place. It went to a neighbor. I can see her house from my desk now typing this! It spent a year or so with them, and, bless it was put through a full kitchen gut and refurb! About 3 months back, they gave me it back, in almost the same state we started this thread in, having bought a Henry. So, I refurbished it a SECOND time, and it now lives with the ex partner's cousin, who asked me if I had anything cheap to flog, and after selling this once for £80 from the work done above, I sold it again to her for £50!
I'd best not see the damn thing back again. Thanks for reading, and please do comment if this has helped you, or you've done this before and have any hints and tips, as we all do certain things differently!

It's an excellent write up as ever, with great photography.
Going to link in to it from our social media now.
