I have a cordless DC59 and the brush doesn't spin. I've connected the head directly to the handle and it still doesn't showing it's not a continuity problem in the stick.
I've stripped the head down, cleaned it, applied a 9 volt battery directly to the motor and it spins showing the motor works.
I've stripped the handle down enough to access the top contacts, pressed the button and I'm not getting any voltage here, so I presume the motor isn't getting power, and it's not even getting to the top contacts.
Could anyone please help with where I go from here?
Many thanks in advance, Simon
