DC14 not sucking hard enough?
« on: December 11, 2021, 10:58:20 AM »
Just want to check this.
If I cover the hose end on my DC14 the motor pitch rises to a high pitched roar but thatís all. On my old DC01 a release valve used to operate if I did that. Is this normal? Is there a release valve anywhere?
Thanks.

If you block it up, there should be a hiss from the relief valve on the cyclone top.

Mmmm - I don't hear that, though there does seem to be plenty of suction and the motor pitch goes through the roof.
