Beko Powerclean VRT94929VI Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
« on: January 06, 2022, 12:34:57 pm »
Hi people's, I've just acquired one of these , it appears that the top motor isn't working but the brushroll one is ... well it is for about 3 seconds then it turns off , leaving the red light flashing for a few seconds . It then does the same again and again . Any ideas please, before I go in blind🙈
Thanks all

Thanks for the reply .. on the top of the battery is a row of contacts , , shows negative one end and positive the other but who knows what in-between. I couldn't get a reading from the voltage tester even straight after charging , but when reconnected it still spins the brushroll for only a few seconds.... From where is a Beko zb1858
battery available ... Beko direct only ?¿

You’ll be lucky, we had the “pleasure” of selling some dirt cheap Beko vacs that we couldn’t really pass up. They were ridiculously cheap. Needless to say we soon discovered they were cheap for a reason and they fell apart. However…. Beko do not stock any spares for any of their vacuums… not even belts, filters Etc. Nobody does. So anything that broke under warranty (which was most of them) had to be refunded or exchanged for something better. Best advice is stay clear!

So getting a battery is highly unlikely then ....the battery does appear to have some star drive screws in it ...what's the chances of rebuilding the battery ...if it even is the battery ...☹️

Unless you are experienced in doing that, I wouldn't. It's really easy to come a cropper with batteries when you open them up.

As it's a Beko, if a swift Google or an eBay search doesn't locate a cheap battery, I'd bin it personally.
