New Henry Stick Vacuum
« on: April 22, 2022, 02:52:41 pm »
Spotted this yesterday on a vacuum shops Instagram page, this looks to be from the Nacecare booth at the VDTA show in Las Vegas (nacecare being numatics north American distributor, and VDTA being vacuum dealers trade association).

So it looks like the rumors are true, numatic has been developing a Henry branded bagged stick vacuum!

Friend of mine rang numatic about it, and according to them it should be avaliable in the summer, and more details should come out next month. They also claimed to have run durability tests against dysons and sharks etc and that the numatic head withstood the equivalent of 7 years worth of bashing (while dyson stood up to one). According to them, it should also cost about half what a v15 costs or less.

Obviously I'd take all this with a grain of salt, since I'm delivering this info 3rd hand. But the picture doesn't lie. The machine looks a bit big and clunky, but if it really is durable and performs well it could be a winner. What do you think?

I've seen this as well, and whilst it's a fair idea, and not surprising at all it looks like a crayon drawing... With strong hints of vax...

At least this post is still up, numatic have been in overdrive getting all the posts about it taken down!

They look a bit bulky, I suppose much depends on the weight and performance.

I'd rather keep the canister and add an electric power nozzle. Nacecare did that with the NVH380.
