Thanks very much, I've found the location. There's a slight problem though: The bit the pin goes into has a split in it which won't push together enough to glue. Would it be OK for me to superglue the pin in place, or does it need to be removable?
My take on this is that the pin is part and parcel of the clutch cover and should stay within the cover. I can't see gluing it in would present problems as long as it all stays in place when the cover is refitted.
If as you say, the female part of the plastic pin recess is split, and you are worried about it, you can get a replacement clutch cover VERY cheaply from Manchester vacs (the pin comes with the cover).
Have just recently bought two of these as spares for 99p each from MV and that is the way they came (with a pin inserted.
P.S. I did purchase them as an add on to my order to make up the free postage limit. I suppose if you purchased a one off the cost would increase with their minimum postage cost.
